What is Kratom Tincture?

Kratom extract is often produced by starting with kratom powder, but it’s also possible to start with whole kratom leaves. People who make kratom tinctures may use heat, pressure, or a solvent to extract alkaloids from kratom. The most common way to create a kratom extract is by boiling the kratom powder or leaves to create a solution like tea.

Once the solution has been created and strained, it can be reduced further by keeping it at a boiling temperature. Boiling the solution causes the water to evaporate, which makes the remaining solution more concentrated. As water is removed by evaporation, the concentration of alkaloids per volume continues to grow, creating a product that delivers a lot of kratom in a small volume.
